We have been marketing the tax consultancy Küpper & Kollegen and the personal brand Burkhard Küpper since 2017. As a result, we have generated around 100 inquiries per day from interested parties who wanted to become clients.
Although new employees were hired, this high demand exceeded the company's capacities. Burkhard Küpper had to stop accepting new clients. Nevertheless, there are still around 300 interested parties applying for a client relationship with Küpper & Kollegen every month.
Managing Director Burkhard Küpper wanted to continue to take advantage of this high demand.
Together, we have developed an alternative solution to the client relationship at Küpper & Kollegen: the tax saving system "Steuern Nein Danke". With this new approach, the objective has changed.
We no longer generate new clients for the tax office, but instead provide the client with a system for saving taxes with his own tax consultant.
In order to impart tax knowledge, we initially planned a series of events. There the tax optimizations will be vividly presented in a one-day seminar.
For marketing, we have developed a completely new online presence and sales process. For this we created a website, advertising videos and a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
In order to make "Steuern Nein Danke" known, we first of all placed ads mainly on Facebook. However, we often had problems with blocked advertising accounts.
Therefore we decided to exhaust all other advertising channels:
Google search campaigns
We were able to build each of these channels profitably.
Due to the Corona measures, the planned in person seminars had to be cancelled. As a result, we looked for a way to continue to offer "Steuern Nein Danke" anyway.
As a solution we decided to offer the seminar as an online course. In this way, we were able to continue to place profitable advertisements and sell the product despite the Corona crisis.
In the period from October 2019 to March 2020, we had advertising costs of €962,933 and thus generated sales of over €2,764,673. This corresponds to a return on advertising spend of +287 %.
In total, we were able to achieve a turnover of 3,300,000 euros in less than 6 months, both through the event series and the online course. We have used the Corona crisis to expand and improve the "Tax No Thanks" product.
